UPBEAT! Downtown is an after school music program for children living in Peterborough who are interested in music and face barriers accessing music education.

UPBEAT! empowers children through a fun ensemble based program led by dedicated professional music educators. Children work together to learn and perform music while developing a sense of self-worth and critical life skills like problem solving, empathy and self-control.

This program delivers;

• Fully subsidized after-school program for children 7-14 years

• Ensemble music learning (instrumental and choral)

• Healthy food, instruments and transportation from school included
